After playing for 4.5 months and beeing the leader of the team of Haukar, Cherise is leaving and looking already for her next team. The alumna of Ohio State was averaging in Dominos league 20.8ppg, 8.8rpg, 4.3apg and 2.5spg. In her last game vs Stjarnan Cherise finished with a double double of 28 points and 12 rebounds.
Flash Agency US Post Alecia Cooley (190-95, college: Arkansas).has signed for the rest of the season with BBC Sparta Bertrange. She started the season at Herner in German DBBL. In 12 games she had 4.7ppg and 3.0rpg this season. The previous (15-16) season Cooley played at another team Lady Razorbacks in U.S. semi-pro league NCAA1 where in 30 games she recorded 6.5ppg and 4.8rpg. She graduated from University of Arkansas in 2017 and it is her first season as a professional player. Taylor is a quick scoring combo guard, great ball handler, and active defensive player. Her ability to score makes it hard for her opponents to guard her. She finished her college career with 1,693 career points as the 2nd All-time Leading Scorer in just 3 years. She set a single-season scoring record with 643 points and led the Atlantic 10 and GMU with 21.4 points (13th nationally) per game. Taylor reached 1,000 points in just 50 games, faster than any player in Mason women’s basketball history. Additionally, Taylor is the one of the recipients for the Allstate WBCA Good Works Team (2016), Washington Post Player of the Year (2011), Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year (2011), and Parade All-American (2011). She was named All-Pac-12 by the media and honorable mention All-Pac-12 by the coaches. Earned honorable mention accolades for the Pac-12 All-Defense team. In her senior season at Arizona she averaged career-highs in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and minutes as she scored 15.6 points, grabbed 6.8 rebounds, blocked 2.1 shots dished out 1.6 assists and averaged 1.1 steals per game in 30.8 minutes per game. Flash Agency US Guard/Forward Ta'Rea Cunningan has signed for the second part of the season with Ostersund from Sweden. This will be the first presence of Ta'Rea in Europe as she has been playing for two seasons in Australina. The alumna of San Jose has a scoring ability, quickness and the speed which allows her to get to the rim and finish as well as play in the mid-range with pull up jumpers and use of the glass. She can shoot it from 3 point range which makes her a triple threat on the offensive end. She is a tremendous on-ball defender who can guard 1-4 on the court in any position due to her speed, athleticism, quickness and strength. She is truly a versitile basketball player as she can do all things that are necessary of a player on both ends of the courts. Last season she played for Knox Raiders in Australia-Big V, where she finished with 15.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.9apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 39.1%, 3PT: 31.7% and FT: 80.0%. Flash Agency Belarusian Combo Guard Alexandra ''Sasha'' Tarasava has signed with TK Hannover from Germany for the rest season. Sascha is a guard with long experience in European Championships as she has been played in Czech Republic, Belarus, Germany, Turkey and Slovakia. She has been a member of all the national teams of Belarus. Her main position is the 1 and she is a scoring point guard that is able at the same time create for her teammates. She has excellent organization skills and is a very coachable player. Last year she played for TSV Wasserburg from Germany where she had 10.2ppg, 1.5rpg, 3.0apg, 1.2spg, 2pts: 45.7%, 3pts: 37.% and FT: 90.3% and Eurocup: 8 games: 10.6ppg, 1.6rpg, 3.0apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 48.0% and FT: 81.8%. Flash Agency 25-year old American forward Brittni Montgomery (190-92, college: Cent.Florida) has signed for the coming season with AD Vagos (Liga Feminina) from Portugal. She has initially signed with Pallacanestro Bellinzona from Switzerland but some problems with her visa didn't made this transfer to come true. The last season Montgomery played at AS Aris Thessalonikis in Greek A1 where in 22 games she averaged 11.2ppg and 8.6rpg. She has played also professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe), Turkey (Mersin Gelisim) and Greece (Athinaikos). Montgomery attended University of Central Florida until 2015 and it is her third season in pro basketball.
