Known for her elite playmaking ability and ability to read the game, she consistently creates scoring opportunities for her teammates while maintaining full control of the tempo. A poised and efficient floor general, she led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio during the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 seasons, underlining her decision-making and composure. Offensively, Jackson is a reliable three-level scorer capable of impacting games both as a creator and shooter. Her transition play and passing make her an asset in fast-paced offensive systems, while her defensive awareness adds balance on the other end of the court.

Kiara is a graduate of the University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV), where she steadily developed into one of the Mountain West Conference’s premier guards. During her senior season (2024–2025), she averaged 12.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, earning multiple honors including:
