Janika’s athleticism allows her to insert the major qualities of speed, agility, and strength into her game. She is an all around player who plays both sides of the court. Her willingness to put the ball in the basket, involve players around her on the offense, and her hyperactivity on defense makes her a major threat on the court. During her junior year, she was ranked nationally for steals averaging at 1.82 steals per game. She is a versatile scorer who is known to knock down mid-range jump shots, 3 pointers, and attack the basket aggressively. In addition to her tenacity in the paint, she doesn’t hesitate to create scoring opportunities for her teammates.
