Jordan Obi is a 6'1" American Guard/Forward from Hartford, Connecticut, who developed into one of the most complete two-way players in the Ivy League before moving to Kentucky. She combines scoring, rebounding, passing, and defensive production in a way that gives her real value as a versatile backcourt or wing option. Obi is the type of player who affects the game in many different ways rather than relying on one skill alone. At Penn, she averaged 13.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game across 83 games, and she finished with 1,142 points, 631 rebounds, 165 assists, 85 blocks, and 72 steals in her college career. She is especially valuable because she brings size and physicality to the guard/wing spot. That allows her to rebound like a frontcourt player, defend multiple positions, and create mismatches on offense when she attacks from the perimeter or posts smaller defenders. Obi’s defensive impact is one of her biggest strengths. She was Penn’s team leader in blocked shots and rebounds, and her size let her guard across the perimeter while still contesting inside. Jordan Obi has being drafted in the 3rd Round (44th Overall) in the 2026 WNBA Draft! Obi was selected by the Las Vegas Aces after a stellar collegiate career at UPenn and Kentucky.
