Georgia joins our family after a solid collegiate career in the NCAA, where she showed her potential as a modern front court player with size, mobility and efficiency around the rim. Georgia finished as senior with Saint Mary’s Gaels and previously she played for Santa Clara. She posted multiple double‑doubles and several double‑figure scoring performances, underlining her ability to impact games when given minutes. Before college, Georgia built a strong résumé in Greece, competing in the A1 Women’s League and earning numerous youth distinctions, including U16 and U18 national championships, MVP honors and repeated All‑Star selections, while being a starter for the Greek youth national teams. A smart, tough and creative floor general, Filippa brings a proven track record of leading backcourts at multiple collegiate stops and is now ready to make the next step in her professional career. At Oakland (2025‑26), she played in 31 of 32 games and logged 942 minutes, posting a career‑best 281 points. She recorded a season‑high 22 points against Northern Kentucky (3/2/2026), went 101/256 from the field and 37/105 from three, and knocked down 42/51 free throws. She also dished 91 assists, including eight‑assist performances versus Wisconsin and Cleveland State, grabbed 124 rebounds (28 offensive, 96 defensive), and added 26 steals and two blocks, showing her all‑around impact. Before Oakland, Filippa spent two seasons at Cleveland State (2023‑25). Taylor O'Brien is an extremely long and athletic guard who can score in multiple ways and impact the game on both ends of the floor. She was one of the best in the nation at getting into the lane and elevating over defenders for her mid-range jumper, while also being a consistent threat from the 3-point line. In addition to being a prolific scorer, she has a unique knack for generating steals and turning them into easy transition baskets. A team-oriented player, Taylor creates opportunities for her teammates through her aggressive yet unselfish style of play. She is also relentless on the boards and is known for giving 100% every single game. Taylor comes from Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, before enjoying an impressive college career. At Bucknell University, she steadily developed into one of the Patriot League’s top players, averaging 16.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game in 2021-2022. She then competed in the ACC with Florida State University, where she brought her scoring, defensive intensity and energy to one of the strongest conferences in NCAA basketball.
